The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) continues to execute activities under the Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program (FUSRAP) while dealing with the impacts of 2019 novel-coronavirus disease, or COVID-19. USACE officials are actively monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation and are in regular communication with personnel and contractors to emphasize the importance of taking appropriate actions -- such as social distancing whenever possible, wearing appropriate protective equipment and personal-hygiene measures -- to safeguard health and welfare while working during the pandemic. Ongoing activities vary based on whether a FUSRAP project is in the planning, design, investigation or remediation work phase. In accordance with COVID-19 recommendations as prescribed by the nation's health experts, public meetings have been put on hold until further notice. As a result, St. Louis FUSRAP offers its "Virtual FUSRAP Open House": Click on the postcard above to enter. The FUSRAP Area Office in Hazelwood, Missouri, will be closed to visitors for the foreseeable future. However, information about FUSRAP, including Contact Us, is on the FUSRAP webpage.
