St. Louis District Public Affairs

The public affairs office is the initial contact for the media for information about the St. Louis District and its programs, policies, operations and activities. The public affairs office manages the District’s public information, command information and community outreach programs. The public affairs office serves in direct support of the District’s commander. Staff members publish the district’s publication, Crosscurrents and prepares other information products for both internal and external audiences. The public affairs office supports the district in a wide variety of other activities, including the management of the district’s internet and social media presence. Staff members are also members of the External Affairs Planning and Response Team, a Corps-wide public affairs team that supports emergency response and recovery missions.
