The average inflow from May 1st through May 4th was 29,495 day second feet (dsf).

Thomas Bostick, commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, acknowledged this project for their accomplishments in management efficiency, public involvement, public safety, management effectiveness, and partnerships as related to all elements of the Natural Resources Management program.
  • Lake Shelbyville is set to welcome holiday weekend visitors

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Shelbyville anticipates a very busy upcoming 4th of July holiday celebration. The Lake is open for all visitors to enjoy and should have plenty of water. As of June 29th, and with no additional rainfall, the lake is projected to crest on Monday, July 3, 2015 at 610.6 feet above sea level (referenced to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD)). On June 29, at 7:00 a.m., the lake level was 609.59 feet above sea level NGVD, which is 9.89 feet above normal summer pool (599.7 feet above sea level NGVD).

    Lake Shelbyville – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will hold a Youth Deer Hunt at Lake Shelbyville on October 11 & 12, 2014. The hunt will be conducted in portions of recreation areas previously closed for the season. As a safety precaution Lone Point Campground, excluding the boat ramp and Walleye Group Camp, Coon Creek Campground H Leg and portions of G Leg, and all of Wilborn Creek, Opossum Creek and Whitley Creek Recreation Areas will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic from 2:00 p.m. October 10, 2014 to 7:00 p.m. October 12, 2014.
