CARLYLE LAKE – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in cooperation with the Carlyle High School will be hosting a program presented by the World Bird Sanctuary. “All About Eagles” will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014, beginning at 12:30 p.m. located in the Carlyle High School Gymnasium. The World Bird Sanctuary will have a live bald eagle to demonstrate the majestic flight and nature of this beautiful bird. After the presentation, eagle viewing will take place at the Carlyle Lake Main Dam and the General Dean Recreation Area. Maps of these locations will be available. Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars and dress accordingly for the weather.
