GP 41 Public Notice - 10/4/2017: PROPOSED REISSUANCE OF REGIONAL GENERAL PERMIT NO. 41 FOR THE PERMANENT PROTECTION AND/OR REPAIR OF FLOOD DAMAGED STRUCTURES, DAMAGED LAND AREAS AND/OR DAMAGED FILLS IN THE STATES OF KANSAS AND MISSOURI. In accordance with Title 33 CFR 325.2 and 325.7(e), as published in the November 13, 1986, Federal Register, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, the St. Louis District, the Rock Island District, the Little Rock District, and the Memphis District propose to reissue this regional general permit (GP). This GP was originally issued by the Kansas City District in March 2008, it was reissued on April 22, 2013 and now expires on April 22, 2018. This GP, if reissued by each Corps District in Missouri, will continue to authorize discharges of dredged or fill material in conjunction with the permanent protection and/or repair of flood damaged structures, damaged land areas, and/or damaged fills in waters of the United States throughout the State of Missouri.

P-3066 - 9/29/2017: Flower and Fendler, seeks authorization, under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, to conduct grading and filling activities in an unnamed tributary to Grand Glaize Creek for the construction of a single family home residential subdivision. The proposed single-family residential development will be located along Carman Road approximately 800 feet east of the intersection of Missouri Highway 141 within Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. More specifically, the proposed project occurs in Section 6, Township 44 North, Range 5 East, within the Kirkwood Quadrangle in St. Louis County, Missouri. The Public Notice Comment period opens September 29, 2017 and close October 29, 2017

P3063 to P3065 - 9/20/2017: WATCO Companies, LLC., seeks authorization, under Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act, to establish (3) additional Barge Fleets just downstream from their current fleeting facilities at the Cora Barge Terminal. The proposed terminal is approximately 12 miles southeast of Chester, near Illinois Route 3, in Randolph County, Illinois. P-3062 - 8/16/2017: Contegra Construction Company, LLC., seeks authorization, under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, to construct a multi-family residential development with associated parking, access roads, and a detention pond. The proposed work will impact 0.02-acres of low quality emergent wetland, a 0.66-acre scrub/shrub wetland, a 0.39-acre pond and 490-linear feet of an intermittent stream. The proposed multi-family residential development (Theatre View) will be located north of the intersection of Center Grove Road and South Plum Street within the City of Edwardsville, Illinois. More specifically, the proposed project is located within Northwest ¼ of Section 23, Township 04 North, Range 08 West of the 3rd Principle Meridian, Madison County, IL. P-3061 - 7/17/2017: Marathon Pipe Line, LLC., seeks authorization, under Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act to conduct maintenance dredging operations at its’ Wood River Barge Dock facility in Madison County, Illinois. The area to be dredged is approximately 260 feet long and 30 feet wide and adjacent to the docking facility. The minimal amount of material will be removed to deepen the area, with maintenance occurring as necessary. Approximately 1,000 cubic yards of accumulated sediment material will be removed with a clamshell dredge perched atop a spud barge. The dredge material will be transferred to storage containers within the loading facility. Once dewatered, the dredged material will be transported via truck to an approved receiving facility in Illinois. The project is located on the left descending bank of Mississippi River mile 196.3, Madison County, Illinois. Specifically, the project is located on the Wood River USGS quadrangle map, latitude 38:49:37.429, longitude -90:06:30.905.
