    The applicant, Consort Homes, has applied for a Department of the Army Permit for the project known as The Villages of Brightleaf. The applicant seeks authorization for the placement of fill material into a waters of the United States in conjunction with the enclosure/piping of approximately 1,317 linear feet of tributary as well as impacts to an additional 356 linear feet of tributary to be impounded for a common ground and retention requirements. The tributaries are part of the Wildhorse Creek watershed, in the City of Wildwood, Missouri. The enclosures and impoundment are proposed to allow for development of the 78.89-acre tract for a proposed residential development. The Public Notice comment period opens July 22, 2016 and closes August 11, 2016.

    Mr. Pat Cunningham of Caplaco Twenty-One Inc. and Glen Carbon 72 LLC seeks authorization to develop 72 acres of cropland into commercial development with structures, parking, and associated infrastructure. Approximately 3,135 LF of stream will be impacted as well as 2.02 acres of wetland. Both on and offsite mitigation is planned. The planned activity is to occur in Section 26, Township 4 North, Range 8 West, 3rd Principal Meridian, in Glen Carbon, Madison County, Illinois.
