    The applicant, Great Rivers Greenway, is seeking authorization to conduct grading and filling operations within waters of the United States for Phase II of the McKelvey Woods Greenway Trail Project. The project consists of an approximate 2-mile long paved trail. Construction of the trail will impact five wetlands and includes impacts to three streams. The project is located in the City of Maryland Heights, south of Creve Coeur Mill Road and east of Maryland Heights Expressway. The trail starts at Marine Avenue and proceeds east over FeeFee Creek. The project is located in Section 17, Township 46 North, Range 5 East, St. Louis County. The Public Notice opens December 10, 2014 and closes December 30, 2014.

    The Kaskaskia Regional Port District requests authorization under Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act to establish two fleeting areas, within an approximate 1,000-feet-long project area, which is located along the left descending bank of the Kaskaskia River. The northern limit of the project area is located approximately 1100-feet downstream of the IL-3 Bridge in Evansville, Illinois. Written comments must be submitted by replying to this email or by mailing your comments to the address shown in the signature block, below. The Public Notice comment period opens on November 26, 2014 and closes December 17, 2014.

    The applicant, Lighthouse Cove, LLC, Attn: Leonard Vasquez, has applied to extend an existing boat dock to accommodate more recreational vessels. The proposed dock would add onto the existing floating dock, which has been in place since the late 70’s. The work would provide additional docking access to up to 7 more vessels. The existing dock is moored to shore with 3 guide wires, and rises and falls with the adjacent main channel of the river via a ramp system. The project is on the right descending bank of the Old Kaskaskia River channel at approximate river mile 21.3 of the Kaskaskia River, Monroe County, Illinois. The Public Notice comment period opens on September 16, 2014 and closes October 07, 2014.
