Rock Island District proposes to re-authorize a Regional General Permit 16 for bank stabilization activities for a period of 5 years to begin around October 15, 2025. The purpose of the Regional Permit is to expedite processing of a number of similar activities which will have minimal adverse impacts to Waters of the US in the State of Illinois within the regulatory boundaries of Rock Island, St. Louis, and Memphis districts. The Public Notice comment period is open from 10 April 2025 through 9 May 2025.
