Camping

Mark Twain Lake offers a variety of camping opportunities ranging from primitive, hike-in sites to developed sites with water, sewer, and electrical hook-ups. Primitive campsites can be found along both Lick Creek and Joanna Trails, several of the hunter/fisherman access areas, and at the Indian Creek Hike-In campground. For those looking for a few more amenities, click on one of the developed campgrounds below to find out what each of them has to offer.

The Golden Passport Program expired December 31, 2006. Golden Passports are still honored at Corps recreation sites, but can no longer be issued by the Corps. The Interagency America the Beautiful Senior Pass for age-related discounts and the Interagency Access Pass for disability-related discounts have replaced the Golden Age/Golden Access Passport passes. The America the Beautiful Passes are available at Ray Behrens Recreation Area, Indian Creek Recreation Area, Frank Russell Recreation Area, and the M.W. Boudreaux Memorial Visitor Center.
