If you are looking to stay in the Carlyle Lake area, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers manages four campgrounds, open to the public, that are perfect for a weekend-get-away. These campgrounds offer the following accommodations: paved pads, electric hook-up, shower and laundry facilities, shade, and lake side views. Each campground is also equipped with plenty of open grass area and playgrounds for children. Family-friendly activities include weekend interpretive programs in Dam West, Coles Creek, and Boulder Campgrounds as well as tours of the Carlyle lake Main Dam on Sundays.
Please browse the individual campgrounds (listed below) for fees and information. A fourteen-day limit in any one campground is enforced.
