If you are looking to stay in the Carlyle Lake area, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers manages four campgrounds, open to the public, that are perfect for a weekend-get-away. The accommodations and features of each campground are listed below. Each campground is also equipped with plenty of open grass area and playgrounds for children. Family-friendly activities include weekend interpretive programs in Dam West, Coles Creek, and Boulder Campgrounds as well as tours of the Carlyle Lake Main Dam on Saturdays at 9:00 a.m.
Please browse the individual campgrounds (listed below) for fees and information. A fourteen-day limit in any one campground is enforced.
*During non-peak season (November - March) the Spillway Loop (Sites 33-47) of Dam East - McNair Campground will remain open.
