Fees, Reservations And Permits

 Day Use Fees - BOAT RAMPS & PUBLIC BEACHES

America the Beautiful Passes (Senior, Access, Military, 4th Grade, Volunteer, and Federal Recreation Lands Passes) can now be obtained/purchased at the Project Administrative Office, Campgrounds, and Visitor Center.  Additional information is available at: http://www.nps.gov/findapark/passes.htm or call the Project Office at (217)774-3951.

Golden Age and Access Passports are no longer issued by the Corps.  However, a USACE Annual Pass is available for a $40 fee.  The pass will be valid for a 12 month period from the date of purchase. This pass is valid only at USACE projects for which a day use fee is charged, an Annual Pass is no longer required if you have an America the Beautiful Pass.

BOAT RAMPS: A $5.00 per day boat launch fee is charged at the following boat ramps:

- Bo Wood - Lithia Springs - Whitley Creek

- Coon Creek - Lone Point - Wilborn Creek

- Dam West - Opossum Creek

PUBLIC BEACHES: A $5.00 per vehicle per day fee is charged the following public beaches:

- Dam West - Sullivan - Wilborn

Pedestrian Day Use Fee is $2.00 per day per person. No fees for children under 16 years of age or current USACE campers with properly displayed tag.

         Fishing Tournament and Other Private Special Events        

Reservations for fishing tournaments and other private special events, such as weddings, business parties, etc. may be made in person or by calling the Lake Shelbyville Project Office at (217) 774-3951, ext. 3.  Reservations for fishing tournaments can be made by telephone beginning at 8 a.m. on the last Monday in September. These reservations require a non-refundable $75 administrative fee and must be made at least one week in advance.
