In accordance with Title 33 CFR 325.2 and 325.7(e), as published in the November 13, 1986 Federal Register,
the St. Louis District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers proposes to re-issue Regional General Permit 44 Missouri, which would authorize
the discharge of fill material into existing improved storm water channels or basins, previously constructed in or considered Waters
of the U.S. The projects must be considered maintenance or replacement necessary to maintain functionality and the integrity of
Public Stormwater, Sanitary, and Combined Sewer Systems. This general permit does not authorize new stormwater projects built in
natural streams or wetland areas. This RGP was originally issued by the St. Louis District in March 2018 and expires March 16, 2023.
