    CARLYLE LAKE — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Carlyle Lake is celebrating National Public Lands Day on Friday and Saturday, September 26th and 27th, 2014 in the Dam West and Dam East Recreation Areas. National Public Lands Day (NPLD) is the nation’s largest volunteer effort for public lands. Join more than 175,000 volunteers and participants around the nation to beautify the land, improve fitness, and enjoy the outdoors.

This event is held in partnership with Body by Boyd of Carlyle, Illinois and Trailnet of St. Louis Missouri.
