CARLYLE LAKE – Campers at Carlyle Lake will now have an opportunity to camp for an additional two weeks at Coles Creek Campground. Based on past trends of declining use following Labor Day, the regular season was scheduled to end on September 30, 2015. However, due to high demand, campers now have an opportunity to take advantage of the fall weather and extend their camping experience until October 15, 2015. This season’s extension will be used as a trial period to determine if longer seasons at Coles Creek will be feasible in the future. Factors such as utilization and operational costs will be assessed when making the determination.
