In accordance with Title 33 CFR 325.2 and 325.7(e), as published in the November 13, 1986, Federal Register, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District proposes to issue Regional General Permit (RGP-44) which would authorize the construction, maintenance, repair and removal of utility lines and associated facilities within the State of Illinois. Permitted activities must not result in the loss of greater than 1/2 acre of waters of the United States for each single and complete project. The RGP would be issued for a period of 5 years and is intended for use by the general public and government agencies.
This RGP would include all Counties in Illinois. Discharges into other Waters of the U.S. are not authorized by this RGP.

The Public Notice comment period opens June 26, 2020 and closes July 25, 2020.
