The applicant, City of Cape Girardeau, seeks authorization for the placement of fill material into waters of the United States for future development of the Cape Girardeau North Business Park. The project would create development ready sites to be marketed to commercial, manufacturing and industrial customers, in an attempt to draw new employers and enterprises to the City of Cape Girardeau. The business park currently contains a distribution facility and a manufacturing facility. The project plans include 3,293 linear feet of impacts to two branches of an unnamed tributary to Williams Creek. The Public Notice comment period opens July 8, 2019 and closes July 22, 2019
