Published March 23, 2015
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers St. Louis District will present information about contracting with the Corps at a Small Business Symposium themed "Doing Business with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers."

The symposium will be held Thursday, April 2 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Main Complex Second Floor Theatre at Southwestern Illinois College in Belleville, Illinois.

The free event will provide contractors in the Metro East insights into business and contracting opportunities within the St. Louis District, as well as information from partner agencies and perspectives from other contractors working with the Corps.

“Contractors with a background in construction or environmental work may find this event especially useful; however all contractors are encouraged to attend,” said Glenn Chatman, director of the St. Louis District’s Small Business Office. “It’s a great opportunity to get multiple perspectives on the opportunity that exists for contractors to partner with the Corps and help us accomplish our missions in service to the nation.”

The symposium is presented in partnership with the Small Business Administration; Illinois Procurement Technical Assistance Center; St. Louis Minority Business Council; Southern Illinois Builders Association, and is hosted by Selsius Corporate & Career Training.

Participants for this event must registration online at http://usarmycoesymp.eventbrite.com/.
