    Lake Shelbyville – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Shelbyville will be conducting a dove hunt on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at West Wilborn Creek Dove Field. On September 1, two hunts will take place, one in the morning (6:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.) and one in the afternoon (2 p.m. - 7 p.m.). A permit is required to participate in the hunt. Permit applications can be picked up at the Lake Shelbyville Project Office Monday through Friday 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., or obtained online at http://www.mvs.usace.army.mil/Missions/Recreation/Lake-Shelbyville/Recreation/Hunting/.

    Wappapello Lake – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Wappapello Lake would like to announce two upcoming events. First, the annual duck blind drawing and registration will be held on August 16, 2014, at 1 p.m. in the multi-purpose room of the Bill Emerson Memorial Visitor Center. Secondly, in partnership with the Missouri Department of Conservation and the National Wild Turkey Federation, we are sponsoring a Mobility Impaired Modern Gun Deer Hunt on October 18 and 19, 2014. Applications are being accepted through August 29, 2014, and the drawing will be conducted on September 2, 2014.

Seasonal and Roving tree stand permits may be obtained from the Lake Shelbyville Project Office Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Bo Wood, Coon Creek or Lithia Springs Fee Booths during operating hours.
