Corps Implements Burn Ban at Campgrounds and Picnic Areas at Mark Twain Lake

October 20, 2015, Mark Twain Lake -  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake has issued a burn ban until further notice due to dry conditions in the region.  The ban prohibits the use of wood fires and charcoal fires in the campgrounds and picnic areas.  Visitors in recreation areas and campgrounds may use attended gas grills and stove tops.
