ROAD WORK ON CLARENCE CANNON DAM

Mark Twain Lake --The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake would like the public to be aware that roadwork will be occurring on the Clarence Cannon Dam beginning on Monday, September 8 thru approximately Friday, October 10.  Single lane traffic control will be in effect for the duration of this repair project.  Chester Bross Construction Company of Hannibal, MO, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be replacing seals and performing concrete repairs on the portion of Route J that crosses Cannon Dam.  Motorists are cautioned to be alert for workers in the area and the single lane traffic control.  Delays may be expected as this work is performed.  If you need additional information, please contact the Mark Twain Lake Project Office at 573-735-4097 or email us at marktwaininfo@usace.army.mil.
