Mark Twain Lake --The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake would like the recreating public to be aware that roadwork will continue within the Indian Creek Recreation Area on Monday, August 4, 2014. Chester Bross Construction Company of Hannibal, MO, will be doing overlay work on the main road to the campground throughout the week. Motorists are cautioned to be alert for workers in the area. Delays may be expected as this work is performed. Also, road work will begin in the Spalding Day Use Recreation Area to overlay asphalt on the main road, replace parking blocks, and stripe parking lot areas.
