Published Aug. 22, 2014
Mark Twain Lake --The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake would like the recreating public to be aware that effective immediately, site saving without occupying the campsite is prohibited.  Non-camping items such as coolers, chairs and orange cones will not be allowed to hold a campsite.  When you register and pay for a campsite, the occupant will be required to place camping equipment such as a motor home, fifth wheel camper, a pop-up camper, or tent on the campsite and you will be required to occupy the campsite within a twenty four hour period.  If the fee booth is not open, please register and pay your camping fees at the honor vault located in front of the fee booth at each campground. If you need additional information, please contact the Mark Twain Lake Project Office at 573-735-4097 or email us at marktwaininfo@usace.army.mil.
