Mark Twain Lake – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake would like to invite the public for a day of “Bee” fun on Saturday September 14th! The M.W. Boudreaux Memorial Visitor Center will have a variety of “buzz worthy” activities centered around everyone’s favorite flying insect, the honey bee. The event starts at 1 p.m. with a variety of craft tables for kids in the lobby area. Around 1:30 p.m., Bee Keeper Bernie Andrew will be the featured speaker and will provide a presentation on the honey bee followed by a question and answer session and a chance to view a live hive. Mark your calendars and make sure to come get your buzz on!
