U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to Offer Hay Resource Sale

Mark Twain Lake, Monroe City, Missouri– The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking bids for the sale, harvest and removal of hay resources from the public lands of Mark Twain Lake.  Ten units are available for bid, totaling 138 acres.  The composition of the hay available for harvest ranges from cool season grass/legume mix to warm season grass.

A pre-bid meeting will be conducted on May 22, 2013, 10:00 am, at the Mark Twain Lake Project Office to inform prospective bidders of hay unit location, conditions, and land use requirements.  In addition, Invitation For Bid packages are available at the Mark Twain Lake Project Office during the business hours of 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
