St. Louis District to host virtual Industry Day March 2

ST. LOUIS – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District will host a virtual Industry Day on Wednesday, March 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The primary objective of this Industry Day event is to provide a venue for the public to learn more about the St. Louis District and its forecasted opportunities, as well as learn about the projects and programs of other participating Government agencies.

Key staff and offices scheduled to participate in this event are St. Louis District Commander Kevin Golinghorst, Programs and Project Management division, Engineering and Construction division, Operations division, Regulatory division, Contracting division and Office of Small Business Programs.

There will also be one-on-one capability briefings scheduled during the afternoon, in addition to breakout rooms to chat with agency personnel on specific topics.

The St. Louis District is strategically located at the crossroads of three major river systems: the Illinois, Mississippi and Missouri. The mission of the District is to manage the 300 mile Mississippi River watershed above the Ohio River by applying engineering, scientific, and other resources while preserving, restoring and enhancing the environment; and maintaining core competencies needed to respond to local and national emergencies and technical requirements.
