Kaskaskia River Project— The rescheduled 2022 Eagle Fest event will be held on Saturday, March 12th from 9am – 3pm at the Jerry F. Costello Lock & Dam in Modoc, Ill. (4800 Lock and Dam Road). All vendors were able to join us for the new date, so it is sure to be a great day to get out and enjoy!
Join us for eagle-watching with spotting scopes and meet some of our feathered friends from the World Bird Sanctuary at 10 and 1. Also be sure to catch the wildlife presentation given by the Animology at 11 and 2. Tours of Lock and Dam will be available. Viewing of an eagle-nest with a mated pair of eagles will be available throughout the day from 9 am - 3pm. Food will be available from local vendors. This event is free to all -- families and leash-trained dogs welcome for the hike.
