News Release 21-38 Short-term Closure Announced for South Fork Recreation Area

Mark Twain Lake, July 26, 2021 – The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers announces that the South Fork Recreation Area will be closed to public use beginning on August 9 and extending to August 20.  The purpose of the closure is to accommodate pavement repair in the recreation area. When the work is completed, the area will be opened for public use.  Multiple ramps around the lake are open for your use.

 

We look forward to seeing you at the lake.  Please be safe and wear a life jacket, it will not work unless you wear it.
