Mark Twain Lake, May 7, 2021 -The U.S. Army Corps or Engineers at Mark Twain Lake announces that the M.W. Memorial Visitor Center will open in phases beginning May 13. 2021. The exhibit hall and lobby will be open for your enjoyment and to provide lake Information. The community room will not be open until further notice,
Hours of operation are as follows:

May 13 - June 2. Thursday -Saturday, 8 a.m. -3 p.m. June 3 -June 30, Thursday-Sunday, 8 a.m. -3 p.m. 
July 1 - open daily, 9 a.m. -4:30 p.m.

All visitors. contractors. volunteers. and staff entering the Visitor Center will be required to wear a mask (bri.ng your own) in compliance with President Biden's Executive Order on Protecting the federal Workforce and Requiring mask wearing. Social distancing with a one-way traffic pattern will be utilized throughout the facility with directional arrows and a limited number of visitors will be allowed at one time on a first come, first served basis.
You may also enjoy the AOA accessible Eagle Bluff Trail, picnicking, playground. scenic overlooks. and the Northeast Missouri Vietnam Memorial while in the area. The nature sates area provided by the Mark Twain Lake Visitors and Educational Resource Center Committee will accept credit/debit card payment only. No cash payments accepted.
