Mark Twain Lake, November 18, 2020 – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake will begin construction activities in the South Fork Recreation Area on November 23, 2020.  Visitors are encouraged to use caution when entering the area, as heavy equipment operation and material hauling will be occurring along the primary access road within the area.  The South Fork Recreation Area will not close during this period, but visitors should expect minor periodic delays due to required traffic controls for public safety purposes.   It is anticipated that this work will be completed by December 30, 2020.
