Published June 28, 2018

Mark Twain Lake, Missouri, June 28, 2018 – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake would like to invite you to attend a program at the M.W. Boudreaux Memorial Visitor Center on July 14, 2018 at 1 p.m. on the Valuable Valiant V-flying Vulture.  What’s so “valuable” about vultures?  They just eat dead stuff.  Exactly!  Vultures are expert garbage collectors and what they do helps us and other animals.  Let’s take a closer look at these magnificent often misunderstood birds.

The M.W. Boudreaux Memorial Visitor Center is located along Highway J just south of the Clarence Cannon Dam.  If you would like more information please feel free to contact the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake by email at marktwaininfo@usace.army.mil or call 573.565.2112.
