November 9, 2017, Mark Twain Lake – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announces the winter hours of operation for the M.W. Boudreaux Memorial Visitor Center which are scheduled to begin November 19, 2017. At that time, the Visitor Center will be open Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. The Visitor Center will be closed for the winter holidays, November 23 and 24, 2017 as well as December 22, 2017 – January 8, 2018. Also, due to limited winter staffing, other brief closures may occur. Consider calling the Visitor Center at 573-565-2112 to check on its status before visiting. The Mark Twain Lake Project Office may also be contacted for assistance at 573-735-4097 when the Visitor Center is closed.
Other seasonal closures include the Ray Behrens and Indian Creek Campgrounds, which close for the season beginning November 20, 2017. Boat ramps around the lake remain open year round.
