The 2017 Solar Eclipse at Mark Twain Lake

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake would like to invite the public to the M.W. Boudreaux Memorial Visitor Center to a viewing and discussion about solar and lunar eclipses on August 21, 2017 at 11:20 a.m.  Dr. Robert Sadler from Culver Stockton College will be the presenter.  Dr. Sadler will be covering an introduction to solar and lunar eclipses, their causes, and how to observe them.  After the talk, you are invited to go outside to view the August 21 solar eclipse.  A limited number of viewing glasses will be available.  Bring your own to insure you are able to safely view the eclipse.
