Rend Lake recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Shelter 4 located in the North Sandusky Day Use Area. Funding for the project was awarded through the Handshake Partnership Program. This program encourages community engagement and the use of partnerships to accomplish mutually beneficial projects. Eight local unions stepped up to assist and provided more than 950 hours of volunteer work to help complete this project. The successes of the St. Louis District would not be accomplished without the dedication and support of all of our partners.
