Lake Shelbyville will be offering special draw hunts during this year’s early goose season. The drawing will be held August 30, 2013. The dates of the hunts will be September 9, 10, 14, and 15. Location of the hunts will be Wilborn Creek and Sullivan Beach Recreation Areas. Due to the limited size of the area, all hunting within these special units will be strictly controlled during the early goose hunting season. To obtain an application for the draw hunt, you can either pick up an application at the Lake Shelbyville Project Office Monday – Friday from 0830 – 4:30 p.m. or download an application at http://www.mvs.usace.army.mil/Missions/Recreation/LakeShelbyville/Recreation/Hunting.aspx.
