CARLYLE LAKE – Due to high water at Carlyle Lake, the Fireworks Spectacular scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2015 has been postponed. The event has been re-scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2015. All activities including the Dam Jam, Sandcastle Building Contest and Volleyball Tournament will be held on September 5th.
Carlyle Lake is experiencing elevated water conditions that have impacted Point 1, where the fireworks are launched. Other launch sites available reduce the ability for visitors to view the fireworks. In addition, some recreation facilities that support visitors for the fireworks are also impacted including the beaches, boat ramps, day use areas and campgrounds. Rescheduling the event when conditions are favorable will make it more enjoyable and increase public safety.
Fireworks are scheduled to be shot off at dusk at the Keyesport American Legion on Saturday, July 4, 2015.
