Volunteering

As a volunteer you gain valuable skills, work outdoors, meet new people, see new areas, and achieve a sense of contributing to the future enjoyment of Carlyle Lake for millions of visitors.

The Carlyle Lake Project Office offers many volunteer opportunities in recreation and natural resource management on its 26,000 acres of water and it’s 11,000 acres of land.  Volunteers provide valuable services which help us to continue to provide quality services to our visitors. As a volunteer you gain valuable skills, work outdoors, meet new people, see new areas, and achieve a sense of contributing to the future of Carlyle Lake.

As a volunteer at Carlyle Lake, you can:

  • Remove invasive plant species
  • Maintain park trails and facilities
  • Assist at Special events
  • Lead trail hikes
  • Take Photographs
  • Assist with educational programs
  • Clean shorelines
  • Restore fish and wildlife habitat
  • And more!
