MARK TWAIN LAKE, Mo – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, at Mark Twain Lake, will host Kid’s Fishing Day on June 6, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. for youth between the ages of five and 12 in celebration of Missouri Free Fishing Days June 6 and 7.
Registration for this event will start on May 12 and will close at 12 p.m. on June 5. The Missouri Department of Conservation will provide fishing equipment for participants, but attendees may opt to bring their own fishing gear. USACE staff and volunteers will be present to assist with the event throughout the morning.
This event will be limited to the first 30 participants who register in advance by calling the Mark Twain Lake Project Office by calling (573) 735-4097, or by visiting the office located at 20642 Highway J, Monroe City, Mo. 63456.
