2010 ANNUAL 

GREAT RIVER RENDEZVOUS
SATURDAY, MAY 22, 2010*

Free Open Clinics
This is an opportunity for you and your family to get into a canoe or kayak and paddle for the first time.  Boats, paddles, and lifejackets will be provided free of charge.  Basic instruction will be provided to help you have a fun and safe paddle in a controlled area. 

Cost:  Free

Time:  11 - 2 p.m.

Location:  Teal Pond or Ellis Bay.   Teal Pond and Ellis Bay are both located at the Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary in West Alton, MO.  Address:  301 Riverlands Way, West Alton, MO  63386.

All proceeds from this event will support the Treehouse Wildlife Center.  Treehouse Wildlife Center is in the process of acquiring a new building and moving all their animals.  Treehouse Wildlife Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care of orphaned and injured wildlife with an additional commitment to educating the public about issues relating to wildlife.  They have rescued many birds of prey, pelicans and various wildlife species that have come into harms way on the Mississippi River.
