Day Use Fees

A day use fee of $3.00 per day is collected at designated Corps of Engineers boat ramps. Day use fees also apply for swimming and must be paid prior to swimming at the North Marcum and South Sandusky beaches. Standard fees are $1.00 per person with a maximum charge of $4.00 per car. Children twelve and under are admitted free to the beach. An annual Day Use Pass for boat ramps and beaches may be purchased at Corps of Engineers offices for $30.00. Persons with a Corps of Engineers camping permit are exempt from day use fees on any date for which the permit is valid. Golden Age and Golden Access discounts apply to day use fees.

Reserve your place under the stars by contacting the new National Recreation Reservation Service (NRRS ), toll free, at 877-444-6777 or TDD at 877-833-6777 to reserve an individual campsite or a group site, which includes picnic shelters, the Shagbark Group area, and the Dale Miller Youth Area. Reservations may be changed or cancelled, subject to additional service fees, at the same numbers. For specific information on any of the facilities you are interested in reserving and/or to make an on-line reservation, go to www.Recreation.gov.

All fees will be paid in full at time of reservation. A credit card may be used to pay fees by phone or on-line. If paying by cashier check, money order, bank check, or travelers check (no personal checks), reservations must be made at least 20 days in advance and payment must be received within 10 days of making reservations.

Indvidual Campsites



A two (2) night minimum stay is required for reservations, which begin on Friday or Saturday evening.
A three (3) night minimum stay is required for reservations, during holiday weekends, which begin on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday evening.
Reservations may be made no earlier than 240 days prior to or no later than two (2) days prior to planned arrival.
Golden Age or Golden Access discounts apply only to individual campsites.


Group Sites

Dale Miller Youth Area:

A two (2) night minimum stay is required for reservations, which begin on Friday or Saturday evening.
A three (3) night minimum stay is required for reservations, during holiday weekends, which begin on Friday, Satruday, or Sunday evening.
For youth groups, reservations may be made no earlier than 360 days prior to or no later than two (2) days prior to planned arrival.
For all other groups, reservations may be not be made earlier than 240 days prior to nor later than two (2) days prior to planned arrival.
Camping fees for all groups: $150.00/day
Check in: 4:00 p.m.
Check out: 2:00 p.m.


Picnic Shelters:

Reservations may be made no earlier than 360 days prior to or no later than two (2) days prior to planned arrival.
