The North Marcum Day Use Area includes two shelters #7 and #8, picnic sites, playground equipment, hot showers, restroom, and ample parking. North Marcum Recreation area no longer has a designated beach. The former beach is now a boat in rest area. Alcohol and pets are allowed. Pets must be restrained on a leash no longer than 6 feet long. Swimming is not recommended in this area.
