Location and Description:  The study area is comprised of approximately 3,011 square miles located in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and Jefferson County in Missouri and St. Clair, Madison, and Monroe Counties in Illinois. The reconnaissance study addressed flood damage reduction, aquatic habitat restoration, and harbor safety issues. The reconnaissance study recommended proceeding with the St. Louis North Riverfront feasibility study, and a potential feasibility study for the Meramec River, pending completion of a reconnaissance report addendum.

prepare report to document information and findings and close out feasibility study
- Meramec River: prepare addendum to reconnaissance report address Meramec River feasibility study

Local Sponsor:  The sponsor for the St. Louis North Riverfront feasibility study is the Great Rivers Greenway District. The potential sponsor for the Meramec River feasibility study is the State of Missouri (Missouri Department of Conservation).
