FEDERAL CAREER INTERN PROGRAM (FCIP):  We fill positions in a variety of career fields, but predominately engineers and scientists under the FCIP appointing authority.  We sometimes have program/budget analyst and administrative positions available under this authority.  If you would like to be considered for such positions, you may send your resume in the body of an email (not as an attachment, please) to: cemvs-hr@usace.army.mil. To apply for these jobs:

1. Prepare your resume using the Army's Civilian Resume Builder (This is Army's PREFERRED METHOD, minimizes the possibility of overlooking required data) at https://cpolst.belvior.army.mil/public/resumebuilder/index.jsp . Once you have completed the resume and supplemental data online, submit it as instructed at the website.

A saved resume will be deleted from the Army Civilian Resume Builder database 180 days from the last time it was accessed for any reason (You may open and close the resume periodically to keep it active). It will, however, remain in the Resumix database indefinitely.

You can also prepare your resume on your word processor and submit by mail/email. If you do not follow all instructions to the letter, you risk having your submission rejected. BE ATTENTIVE! Download and follow all the instructions provided in the "Job Kit". South West has posted all necessary materials and current instructions at http://cpol.army.mil/library/employment/jobkit/ . Complete the "Supplemental Information" sheet and submit it with your resume, or your resume cannot be processed.

2. Submit your resume to the address provided in the job kit at the web address of the above..

3.  When you see an announcement in which you have an interest, complete the Self-Nomination for by clicking on the link in the announcement.
