Wappapello Lake
An Earth Day Celebration is held at Wappapello Lake during the fourth week in April each year. Local 8th grade students from Wayne, Butler and Stoddard Counties are introduced to conservation ands other environmental education activities. The students are guided through seven different sessions lasting 25 minutes each The event is partnered with the University of Missouri Extension Office and other federal and state agencies.
