Social Paddle
Come kayak
or canoe with us! Enjoy a relaxed 10 mile social paddle down the Mississippi
River. Bring your own boat and gear or contact
a local vendor to rent one. This float is intended for intermediate to
experienced paddlers. The social paddle follows, Piasa Creek, the
Mississippi River bluffs and continues under the Clark Bridge.
The social paddle is not recommended for beginners.

From Alton:
Follow
Route 100 North, turn left into Piasa Creek Boat Ramp.
Approximately 6.5 miles.
From Grafton:
Follow Route 100 South, turn right into Piasa Creek Boat Ramp.
Approximately 9.5 miles.

Treehouse Wildlife Center.
Treehouse Wildlife Center is in the process of acquiring a new
building and moving all their animals. Treehouse Wildlife
Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care of
orphaned and injured wildlife with an additional commitment to
educating the public about issues relating to wildlife. They
have rescued many birds of prey, pelicans and various wildlife
species that have come into harms way on the Mississippi River. |
