Geocaching

Do you want to learn more about Geocaching? Then come out to the National Great Rivers Museum. The Museum will be hosting geocaching programs every Saturday in June, July, and August at 9:00 AM. The approximately two-hour long program will teach you how to use a handheld GPS receiver. After which you will find a cache (hidden object) with the skills you have just learned. This Program is free and open to the public. People of all ages are welcomed to come and join the fun. For questions and reservations call the Museum at 877-462-6979.

Directions: Geocaching programs are held at the Environmental Learning Facility is located at 301 Riverlands Way, West Alton, MO 63386-1704. From I-270 North, take the hwy 367 exit North. Before crossing the Clark Bridge, turn right, go approximately 1 mile, turn left at the Rivers Project Office. The Environmental Learning Facility is located to the right of the office.
