St. Louis District Veterans Curation Program Team
For meritorious service to St. Louis District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, from October 2009 to November 2014. The team planned and designed all three Veterans Curation Program Laboratories, trained nearly 175 veterans and provided them with tangible work skills and experiences through the rehabilitation and preservations of the Corps’ national collections. While making individual contributions through their areas of expertise in operations, archives training and archaeological curation, each team member played a vital role in the success of all three labs with 90 percent of the veterans either finding full-time employment or going on to further their education. The Team’s professionalism and significant contributions reflect great credit upon themselves, the St. Louis District and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
