Individual campsite reservations may be made 6 months to the day in advance of arrival and must be made a minimum of 3 days in advance.
GROUP AREAS
Group Camping is available at Area C in McNair, Lotus and Coles Creek Area A (formerly Loop 2) and Area B (formerly Loop 3). NRRS reservations for group areas must be made a minimum of 5 days in advance. If Coles Creek Areas A and B have not been reserved in advance of the 5 day minimum, the sites are available individually on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Lotus Group Area is available solely for group use.
Coles Creek Group Camping Areas:
Area A (Loop 2, Sites 36A-53A)...............May 1 - Sept 30.................$225/night Includes 16 single sites and 1 double site with electric and a waterborne comfort station
Area B (Loop 3, Sites 54B-63B)...............May 1 - Sept 30..................$125/night Includes 10 single sites with electric and a waterborne comfort station
Lotus Group Area:
Lotus Group Area.................................May 1 - Sept 30......................$125//night Includes 10 mini-shelters, enclosed shelter with water, electric and water.
PICNIC SHELTERS
Picnic Shelters can be reserved for a fee of $30.00; Shelters are located around the lake in these areas: Keyesport, Dam East, Dam West, East and West Spillway, Coles Creek, and Boulder. Reservations may be registered up to 360 days in advance and must be made a minimum of 5 days in advance.
Shelters and cabins are also available in Eldon Hazlet State Park. To make reservations for the shelters call 618-594-3015 or access the park through the Illinois Department of Natural Resource website. For cabin reservations, contact Dick Pearson at (618) 594-3386 or e-mail Cottages@midwest.net. |
